What our students say

म पहिलो पटकमै स्कुटरको ट्रायल पास भएँ। सरहरू धेरै धैर्यवान हुनुहुन्छ र प्रत्येक दिन अभ्यास गराउनुहुन्थ्यो।

Sunita Maharjan

Best value in Mahalaxmi area. The instructor took me on real Kathmandu traffic, not just the practice ground. Passed my bike trial in the first attempt.

Bikash Shrestha

Gwarko, Lalitpur

Ladies batch timing was very convenient for me. Car training car was in good condition and mock trial helped a lot before the real test.

Message from the Chairperson

"Driving is a responsibility before it is a skill."

Namaste. We started Subharambha in 2080 B.S. with one simple belief — every learner deserves an instructor who is patient, honest about the price, and serious about road safety.

Our roads in Nepal are challenging: narrow lanes, steep slopes and unpredictable traffic. That is why we train you on the real conditions you will face, not only on a flat practice ground. When you leave our centre, you should be confident enough to take your family on the road safely.

How to pass the scooter trial in Nepal (first attempt guide)

In Nepal the scooter trial is mostly about slow-speed balance. The examiner watches three things: the 8-shape, the straight narrow lane, and your ability to stop without dropping your foot at the wrong place.

Keep your eyes far ahead, not on the front wheel. Use only the rear brake gently in the 8-shape and hold a steady low throttle. Do not put your leg down inside the track — that is an instant fail.

Before trial day, complete the likhit (written) exam preparation, carry your original citizenship, and reach the trial ground at least one hour early to see the track layout.

Riding a motorbike in Nepal: gear, clutch and hill start basics

Nepal's roads mix steep climbs, potholes and heavy traffic, so clutch control matters more than speed. Learn the friction point on flat ground first, then practice hill starts using the rear brake with a half clutch.

For the trial, the 8-shape and the ramp are the two elimination points. Practise the ramp with a steady throttle and never change gear on the ramp.

On the road, always ride with a helmet, keep left, use indicators early, and expect a bus to stop without warning. Defensive riding passes trials and saves lives.

Car licence trial in Nepal: H-track, parking and road test

The light-vehicle trial in Nepal usually has the H-track (reverse parking), a ramp start and a short driving round. Most candidates fail on the H-track because they rush.

Learn your reference points: mirror, door handle and rear window corners. Move slowly with the clutch half pressed, stop and correct steering instead of rolling and steering together.

For the ramp, hold the vehicle with the handbrake, raise the clutch until the bonnet lifts slightly, then release. On the road round, mirror-signal-manoeuvre every single time — examiners in Nepal watch this closely.
